This is about Seldovia, it’s a place most people can’t spell so they can’t even look it up on Google. The rest don’t even know it exists so they wouldn’t look it up on Google. Seldovia is a destination classified in guidebooks for the Kenai Peninsula as “across the bay”, a title we often complain about. Maybe it’s time to capitalize on that, because “across the bay” means adventure. You can only get there by boat or by air.
I still marvel at the beauty when the ferry comes around the corner and I see our quaint little town sitting on the edge of Seldovia Bay and the harbor. The boats, the mountains, the water, and knowing that friends will be waiting when I get there.
